It wasn't too long ago that many so called experts on this forum didn't manny a chance at dela hoya because he was too small, didn't have the strength, etc... The same thing was said about his fight with Hatton and Cotto. Now, manny is being pitted against a true 147 beast. This is testament to how good a fighter he is. The same with mayweather although he's as physically disadvantaged. Tito at this stage. If manny fighters and takes mosley's shots well then the mind could be changed.
I think some of the posters here are just too scared to post what they really think (afraid to get flamed). When they see that a thread is dominated by a single opinion they will side with that opinion, and won't analyze on their own. In some site( The members are not Pilipinos) Pacquiao is favored to win over Trinidad. There is even a Puerto Rican there who is skeptical on Trinidad's chances against Pacquiao. Will Trinidad catch Pacquiao? Trinidad has poor footwork and Pacquiao proved that he can be elusive if he wants to. If you will look at Felix Trinidad's best wins at welterweight it's not that impressive. At welterweight, I think Pacquiao will win. Above that I favor Trinidad.
Trinidad too skilled? Sorry I think that is not the case. And size alone does not win fights. Pacquiao wins this fight.
I think Pac survives some difficult moments to win a clear cut decision unless Tito can really bruise him up and make him have problems with his vision maybe resulting in a corner or ref stoppage. I definately think Pac would outland Tito on compubox. No doubt
that means nothing for Trinidad... Tito will hit em with the left hook so hard that it will send Manny back home!
the majority of times it was mainly due to his balance,he looked like bambi on ice at the start of his fights til he found his footing.
lets look at it this way, when clottey opened up he hurt pacquiao, trinidad would've been on him from the first second & tito hit ALOT harder than clottey, pac gets ko'd in this one.
I am a biggest Manny fan, but I have to go with Trinidad. Nobody in this day at welterweight can beat Tito in his prime. You can hit and run with Tito and then one left hook, game's over.
