    Dawson should be a bigger draw. Yes he doesn't have a fan friendly style but the guy can fight. A shame he couldn't even sell out in his own hometown. As a Pascal fan I will root for Jean but wish the best for Chad too.

    Dawson is not a draw because him and his promoter never bothered to build him a fanbase.

    Bute has been fighting in Montreal since 2003. First on the undercards of guys like Dorin and Lucas. Then he started headlining his own cards. Selling about 3000 tickets. His fanbase grew from there. It didn't happen overnight.
