    1. Wladimir Klitschko-WBO, IBF, Ring, IBO Champion
    2. Vitali Klitschko- WBC Champion
    3. David Haye- WBA Champion
    4. Alexander Povetkin
    5. Eddie Chambers
    6. Tomasz Adamek
    7. Tony Thompson
    8. Chris Arreola
    9. Ruslan Chargaev
    10. Nikolai Valuev

People I can't understand on other people's list: David Tua- The man beat Shane Cameron, so what and before that his biggest win closest to now was a KO of Michael Moore in 2002. So its been 8 years since a semi significant victory and he gets into the top 10?

    11. Arreola

Arreola just misses the top 10, mostly because his record is somewhat of a mirage. What are his best wins? Shot Jameel McCline who didn't try? Chazz Witherspoon who was just more thoroughly dominated by Thompson? Walker who now has a proven glass jaw? Minto who's moving down to cruiserweight? Nobody out there has had more careful matchmaking. Obviously he jumps if he beats Adamek (which I give him about a 50/50 shot of doing), but at the moment, I have doubts that he could beat Solis or Boytsov, and his record on paper isn't looking much better than theirs.

Chagaev and Peter are outside the top 10, Chagaev because he's looked like crap since contracting Hepatitis, Peter because he hasn't beaten anyone significant in a while and was mostly looking like crap until he started fighting scrubs again. Tua isn't rated because he hasn't fought anyone decent in 7 years. I'm probably giving Thompson too much credit, but it's not as if there is anyone who is obviously more deserving. Along with the guys just mentioned, I could also see Ray Austin or Kali Meehan sneaking into the back end of a top 10.

Good list. Chambers definitley deserves to be ahead of Thompson though. Helenius and Pulev aren't far out even at this early stage imo.

    Helenius - Bidenko, Gamer, Brewster
Pulev - Oloukun, Skelton, Page, Batcherfield
Arreola - Mccline, Witherspoon, Walker, Minto

I'd honestly rate Pulevs wins better than Arreola right now. If Arreola beats Adamek it will be his best scalp without question and his only real signature win.

I agree that they're not too far back, but I can't in good conscience rank someone who hasn't started fighting 12 rounders yet. If the stamina hasn't built up yet, then I couldn't really expect them to beat guys ahead of them in a 12 round decision; plus, the stamina never really comes for some guys who look like beasts when they're fighting for 8 rounds but can't go 12 without gassing out or slowing their workrate to a crawl (i.e., Dominick Guinn, Audley Harrison).

Once Pulev goes 12, he's probably in my top 10, or close to it. I think he beats everyone but the top 5 or so guys in a 6 round fight right now.

The way I have the guys grouped, I wouldn't complain if anyone changed the order within the groupings. I just think Thompson would beat Chambers head to head.

lol **** great point. The fact that they aren't even fighting 10-12 rounds yet completely slipped my mind. Agree with what you said about all that.

I think Chambers would win h2h so guess that makes sense. I would love to see Thompson get a decent fight right now, a test for someone like Solis or Boytsov to see who really is where.

More top 10 guys have to start fighting eachother, this era of "lose once and you're done and forgotten" is pathetic and destroying boxing. there are lots of great fights to be made if everyone wasn't so worried about their public image and fans weren't so quick to abandon ship over 1 loss.
