:rofl Man, stop making excuses...he lost...Get over it! He wasnt drugged so stop trying to use that lame ass excuse!
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB9TUC31zXQ[/ame] For all you nuthuggers out there Even Ali has the punching power to bother Klitschko's shaky chin. That right hand that floored Liston. The right hand that stunned Ron Lyle and backed Frazier up. He may not be the hardest puncher ever but his punching power is underrated imo. that's not what would measure this fight anyway; Neither guys particularly like the inside, so he would come in and flurry while wladmir would get nailed. Ali's hand speed, heart, chin, and footwork would be the deciding factor. Wlad just doesnt beat THE GOAT! COME ON!
Wlad changed boxing with his style? Wlad fights remarkably similar to Primo Carnera, another big man that fought in Joe Louis's era. Look at the similiarities. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pQo1DnuQic&feature=related[/ame] and this [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ovh8VkTxYI[/ame] BUT YOU what REALLY STANDS out, is the DIFFERENCE in SKILL BETWEEN THE OPPONENTS. Chambers looks like a damn amateur. And Joe Louis looks silky smooth with this type of opponent in front of him. Look at Joe Louis actually moving his head and putting himself in position to counter. Chambers didn't move his head much at all, except to very occasionaly duck, but just for the sake of ducking, and not attempting to counter punch. You put Wlad in with Louis, same result. Wlad reaches, begins to get tired, and Louis responds with a rapid, devestating combination. Down goes Wlad.
As a fan of Lights Out, I'd rather Wlad skip over him. It's bad for James's health. Plus James is with the UFC now. He doesn't seem to have much interest in making one last run in boxing...
Wow I never noticed.. You're right though their styles are very similar, they both love jabbing and joe louis makes him look like a fool haha And joe louis would knock wlad out
While I agree that James Toney is obviously past his best and he hasn't shown that his dedication is where it needs to be, and he is also not a puncher... Wlad is much slower and easier to predict that most of the guys that James Toney has fought, and I think his defense would make him a very, very difficult target for Wladimir to find. In fact, this is the type of fight that make a guy like Wladimir look bad. He won't throw any right hands in this fight because James Toney will duck them and counter him. He will only jab at a distance, and not take any risks at all because if he does, he'll not only get countered, but he'll get tired quickly, and that will give Toney a chance to go for the KO.
