Vitali was ready to go in that last round and he was in the prime of his life, the thing is, Lennox was way past his best and was starting to mess Vitali up badly that proves the margin between these two fighters, Way past prime Lewis TKO6 Vitali remember?

Long story short. Lewis is better end of.

 

Rocky Marciano doesn't belong on any H2H HW list.. CW maybe, but not HW.

At 5'10" and less than 190 he'd get ****ed up by a lot of true HW's of the modern era.

You post a pic of LL landing a punch, and showing Vitali's ripped up eye. Just because somebody has a horrendous cut, just because somebodies face looks bad...Doesn't mean they lost. Some people cut easier, some people bruise easier. Others could take a vicous beating, and not show many marks. So what?
Even with that bloody ass face...Most people would look at that and believe LL was winning (whom didn't watch the fight). You fail to mention that even with the ripped up face..Vitali was STILL ahead 4-2! So, imagine if he didn't have the cut hendering him.
If your going to post a story then talk about ALL OF IT! How bout posting a video of the crowd reaction after the stoppage? How about posting a minute later when LL sounds so defensive to there boos afterwards "I beat him, and I'd beat his brother too!" Then about how he retired afterwards...
Not saying who would have won the fight though I believe Vitali was going to dig down, and try to KO Lewis...Before they stopped the fight (they didn't warn Vitali at all the fight was being stopped).

 

But Tyson was 5' 11" and weighed 215, not too disimilar

Aside from that, Lennox wasn't in any danger at that point and had the fight under control at that point. A fat, undertrained, over the hill, unmotivated Lennox.
