AS far as race goes, anyone with an IQ above 50 should give 2 shits less about race. I have personally never watched boxing with anyone that has liked a fighter due to race.

 

That kind a sums it for me - the guy is incredibly dominant. You have guys who were world amateur champions and who can surely box (e.g., Chagaev) who can't win a second of a round let alone lay a glove on the guy.

Yeah, boring... but also pure perfection (think Naz Richardson said the Chagaev fight was a master piece).

I dont think Wlad and Vitali are the best fighters ever or anything, but they are the best heavyweights out there right now of any color.

I absolutely love how the Haye fans crawl out of the woodwork to try and discredit Wladimir for his win, saying it was god awful when Wladimir not only was able to ice a top prospect, but dominate him in every second of every round up untill the stoppage. Meanwhile in the real world, Haye scraped by Barrett after arguably getting knocked down and won what should be Wladimirs belt by running against Valuev for 12 rounds.

This is a totally valid case you made here. I agree with this. I prefer to watch Vitali to Wladimir, but I know what Wlad is capable of from the Pre-Steward days and, just recently, Round 12 of the Chambers fight.

I wouldn't want to see a fighter with a huge size, strength, and skill advantage acting like he's scared to impose his will on a damn near helpless opponent almost each time out. I think most sensible people can agree that skin color has nothing to do with cases like those.
