i am still not convinced that RJJ cant pull out one final decent performance and beat old Popkins. He got caught against Danny, but to be fair PLENTY of fighters would not have recovered from that shot...it was fair on the side of the melon and tilted his head at an odd angle... and B-Hop looked pretty average in his tune up - his age was really starting to show. I dont think Hopkins has the power to stop RJJ, and I think Jones knows this and wont be scared to engage. Still, after getting KTFO against Danny it will be interesting to see how he recovers i got it a SD for RJJ
Here is a pick of B Hop working out..... This content is protected Now RJJ workout video http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=213896
I'm with Sox. Hopkins will KO Roy & end his career. Its a pointless fight as the Green fight showed Roy is finished. Its the only reason Hopkins wants him now as he's a no risk fight & Hopkins will gloat afterwards about redemption but the fact will remain the same, Roys finished & been finished since the Ruiz fight.
i dont think Nard has the punching power of Tarver,Johnson or Green.i reckon this goes 12.does Roy have 1 more good performance left in him?i favour Hopkins but dont think its a foregone conclusion.
I'd luv to see Roy pull it out just to **** Hopkins off for hand picking his timing of the rematch. He's had 16 years to do it & waits to Roy gets koed a 3rd time before taking the 'risk'. I 'd luv it to backfire, I really would.
i think jones will beat hopkins. but would green rematch him? he seems only interested in bumdine now.
I dont like Hopkins but Jones is done, he even admits it on fightnews, I would love for Jones to surprise the "dead-feeder" with a KO but Hopkins will probably bore his way to a late stoppage or comfortable decision It doesnt matter much for me because Jones already beat the guy when they were both entering their prime.
