all i can think about is the last fight camp 360 where dirrell was watching jt get koed by aa. he was dead silent and his team even the fat guy stopped eating. i think that's in dirrell's head. AA is in direll's mind.

 

So far, all home fighters have won. AA isn't a high volume puncher. Dirrell could win rounds with 20 punches or less, thus minimizing his exposure and not giving AA what he needs. Counter opportunities and a chance to analyze Dirrell.

 

Good point. Plus we haven't seen AA letting an all-out assault, he's careful and conservative with his punches. And Dirrell isn't gonna just stand in front of him like JT did and get knocked out. Granted, AA is a better boxer than Froch, but Froch puts more pressure to his opponents, AA is not a pressure fighter, he just waits for the right time to throw his bombs.

As some have mentioned, this could be a really ugly fight, but it will be interesting to see how the fight will unfold, given that both fighters prefer to counterpunch and not initiate the action.

Smart money is definitely on Dirrell in this fight...i got pretty damn good odds on Dirrell UD.

 

He does flurry, but you don't see him do it very often. My point was that he usually spends more time waiting than attacking. Maybe Dirrell's style will force him to attack more, giving Dirrell more chances to counter, but maximizing his own chances of hurting Dirrell.

And something else about this fight: I don't understand how most people expect AA to KO Dirrell, but absolutely noone mentions the possibility of Dirrell hurting AA. AA has a granite chin, granted, but Dirrell has showed he can punch. I'm not saying it's likely to happen, but we can't rule out that possibility.

 

They know Direll is trying to install his brothers and cousins as the ring ref and the 3 point judges as well as to let his own mother sit by the bell to end the round when the going gets tough for Direll - many thanks to the external counselor Ahmet Öner of Germany for the splendid idea...

I bet the ref will take points from Abraham for holding his guard tight and punching Direll hard, both being extremely unfair means of preventing Direll to win, which of course can't be allowed... And when Abraham scores a devastating KO, he'll be DQed for low blows :rofl
