I'd still like to see it, but there is a lot that could happen between now and the end of the tourney. Obviously both guys have to keep winning, and then even if AA wins the tourney, I heard Showtime has options on the winner. Pavlik is an HBO guy, so . . . . ? We could very well end up waiting until both are old, fat, and irrelevant cruiserweights:yep

Every home guy has won so far. The 'post knock down' Dirrell, if he shows up, boxes circles around AA. I'm not counting him out yet.

What a suprise, the style that you think beats Abraham is the style of Kelly Pavlik.

Even fights that have nothing to do with Pavlik, you somehow manage to suck on his balls just a little bit more.

    You are an oxygen thief.

Boo posted an analysis. This is the BEST you can do? Where is your analysis. To be honest, can you point to ANY you have done here on ESB? Seriously.

Guys, I'm glad you've discredited the PAv bandwagon fans. All of PAv's fans are hoping and praying AA loses lol... AA is ready for anything Dirrell has to offer. The way to beat AA is to box. Trying to put pressure on him nonstop for 12 rounds won't work. Stand your ground...jab, get in and out, and give AA movement by and make him pick his feet up. The big guess is when to open up when you think AA is opening up and when to let go of your punches the minute AA opens up. ... PAv's style would get obliterated by AA...which is why the never made the fight with AA.

Abraham is fully aware that he has to punch more to get a decision in the US. Don’t expect him to lie dormant for the first rounds. He looked good in the third and stopped Miranda in the fourth round of their second fight (his first abroad). He will chase Dirrell just because he knows Dirrell has problems to handle pressure. He will wear him down, both physically and mentally. And I actually think Dirrells hometown advantage may be his downfall. I see him coming highly motivated to the ring, where he plans to convince all those who criticised him after losing to Froch. He could likely exchange more than is good for him. That being said: I actually like Dirrell. He is talented, fast, puts together nice combinations. He has got all the tools to win a decision, but I don’t see him doing it. “Everybody’s got plans, until they get hit”

My two cents (hope my English is sufficient for that kind of discussion)

Dirrell has too much speed and athleticism to be beat by A.A..
Dirrell works the angles and is a pugilist specialist. If Dirrell has an off night he will lose one round only. It is more likely that Dirrell KO's A.A. than lose even one round to the Armenian by way of Germany.

On the other hand he had Miranda figured out already from the first fight. If there will be an increase in work rate from AA in the first rounds of this fight it'll will be with the jab I think and only if Dirrell is being passive enough for him to win rounds with it.
