are you an idiot? did you even read the thread? i didn't ask if he would lose or how he would lose, i asked WHAT HE SHOULD DO IF HE LOSES. by the way what part of east london are you from?
He has time to rebuild whereas Mosley doesnt. Cotto is young and has the talent to win the title at 147 again. Cotto could start with a tune-up for confidence then go forward by fighting a lower top ten type...Josh Clottey or a Luis Collazo...If he wins those type of fights he should fight the winner of Hatton-Mayweather
Sorry yes I am an idiot, i didnt read the thread properly, just reading the posts.. ok, when Cotto loses he should definately not fight Margarito(slow but good chin, power) so the loser of the Hatton/PBF fight...but PBF would be a great fight as I think he has the 'style' to beat him. Either way, Cotto is the future, most of the current guys are sailing into the sunset. I live off Brick Lane nr Allens gdns
There is a reason Margarito is on the undercard. If Cotto wins he STILL may fight Margarito. If he loses, it's a lock. Margarito is Arum's (Cotto's) insurance should he lose to Mosley. However, I think Cotto/Hatton is a dream fight. Under that I would honestly rather see PBF/Mosley
True, they could do a night of the rematches,Cotto/Mosley, Pavlik/ Taylor, PBF against the new champ Hatton etc
**** me i lived their, and also lived in stepney and now live in plaistow, my older brother owns a few business' down brick lane.
If Mosley wins there is no chance of a rematch. The only reason a rematch would be warranted in a Mosley win would be if it was a spectacular, brutal fight (which I'm sure it will be). If Mosley survives that with a win he is too old to go though that again, especially after having won the fight. The big money will be in the Hatton/PBF winner, plus a chance at the pund for pound king. All that being said I see Cotto wearing Mosley down and winning a close, comeback decision. Unless Mosley ends it early (highly unlikely) he will not be able to keep up with the punch output/pressure of Cotto. He is too old and hasn't fought a powerful fighter like Cotto in years (if that...)
Then life goes on. It's not the end of the world . . . there's no shame in losing to a fighter named Sugar Shane. Fight other big names and make a come back. :yep
I'm actually leaning toward Mosley right now...earlier I thought Cotto had it, but SSM may have a couple more barnburners with pure skill left in the tank
sandy you are making yourself look like an idiot:rofl please shut up before i put my 10 incher up your ass (and no i dont mean my gun)
If Cotto loses he should fight Margarito since ideally Mosley would be going for the Mayweather vs. Hatton winner - making a rematch out of the question. He could also fight the loser of Mayweather vs. Hatton unless Hatton goes back down to 140lbs. Basically... 1. Margarito. 2. Loser of Mayweather vs. Hatton.
