Although the first fight was competitive, I don't see Taylor winning. Pavlik is just a bad match-up for him. He will eat jabs and rights all over again.

The only way for Taylor to win would be to survive and hope for the decision. Or do what Manny says.

 

Redemption.

Taylor taking this rematch is yet another example that like his style or not, Taylor deserves respect from absolutely every fight fan there is. This guy has ****ing stones, and backs down from no challenger. People said he only wanted small fighters, and he takes on Pavlik, wow. Now a rematch after getting knocked the **** out? Forget about it.

 

I really do think Taylor wins the rematch.

The reason Smoger didn't count for Taylor was because the dude was freakin' out of it. His ass was on the canvas for 2-3 minutes before he could get up.

I think your wrong about HBO still wanting to protect JT. Before this fight, he was a cash cow for them. But their reasoning is if Taylor loses, especially the way he lost, its time to toss him aside & welcome with open arms, their new main man, Kelly The Ghost Pavlik.

Things change in this world, & because Kelly rocked Taylors world, its a whole new landscape.
