    exactly

Lets make boxing all about who can starve themself the most.......now that will be the end of the sport as we know it. Next thing you know they will be abolishing the heavyweight division because they will be trying to make middleweight

None of us knows how much either will weigh. If you are too stupid to understand the difference in

    and

, and and the difference in your strength, stamina, and resistance, then the conversation is over.:bart

It's ****ing ridiculous. And only a terribly biased fan of Gut-man would argue otherwise. 9 ****ing pounds? Three or four pounds over would have allowed him to rehydrate back to 145 or so. GTFOH with that ****.

OK. Let me get this straight. He comes in 9 pounds over the limit for a title shot. Now he cannot win the title because he missed weight. Undoubtedly his purse will get lightened considerably. I'm sure the commission will take a look at revoking his license for some period of time over this. A lot goes into these events so having someone just pissing on the rules will not go down well with the commission.

You think he is a genius and you think you are one for recognizing his genius and the rest of us are idiots? What is in those 'Havana's' you're smoking?

I have to think the commission will get involved in something this blatant. They seem to be reluctant to call off the show, but I'd bet they take action against him for this. He didn't just miss the weight class, he missed the one above it as well. :patsch

So, lets say Vic Darchinyan signs a fight with Kelly Pavlik, then weighs in for the MW title match at 169 pounds. Does being overweight give any advantage to Vic?

Funeka is fighting a naturally much smaller man, who also happens to be out of shape. He should be the one giving up 25% of his purse. Guzman is the handicapped one.

Funeka needs to be more professional and start fighting at 147.

You got this all wrong. Way to look at the negatives.

Guzman is starting a new trend. Like Mayweather vs PEDs. He is showing that he is willing to sacrifice money and belts to fight these guys that are so much larger than him. You guys need to look at the positive side of things. I like to think outside the box. Funeka is scared shitless right now

He cheated for a reason. To gain an advantage. Plain and simple. This was clearly intentional.
