    Insignificant

The Roy Jones before he beat Ruiz was the real Roy Jones

Now he is a faded shot fighter

Jones beat an over the hill Roy Jones

Hopkins can enjoy his victory over him next week as much as he wants, but it wont matter because its not the same Roy Jones who electrified us in the 90's

What's even worse is that Calzaghe has had the temerity to brag about that victory since then, hahaha.

It was shocking. JCC was 36 years old and RJJ 38. Both were past their prime.

It was ok. Lets not forget what Jones did to Lacy afterwards.
Sure the Lacy fight was not close to a top level fight but it showed that Jones can still take care of B/C level guys with ease.

To me it showed JC could have made a interesting fight for Jones at any time, but as Joe acknowledged 3 years earlier Jones it doesn't prove anything as to who would have won 10 years earlier.

Actually,Jones was 1 1/2 months short of his 40th,but why quibble.Calzaghe was much closer to his prime than Jones and JC knew that Jones was completely shot.

    great win for calzaghe.

calzaghe was way past his prime yet he still toyed with jones.

the boogie woogie at the end of round 3 was classic joe calzaghe.

Why would it, when beating Tyson appears to have enhanced Lewis' legacy?
