These guys either outbox the other guy, beat them by onesided decision, or get the ko. One is called a pot shotter, one is called a jabber, and is said to give away rounds, and covers up too much. The funny thing is, that when all 3 get pressured or attacked, that is when they are at their best-although Wlad has folded under this pressure in the past...he hasn't recently, and has gotten better with age. What makes these fighters boring to some of you fans... Just wanted to hear what boxing fans have to say...

Wlad- Wlad is more of a frustrating fighter rather than a boring fighter. His fights themselves tend to be boring because we all know what's going to happen. His opponents are completely overmactched and stop competing after about the 3rd or 4th round. Wlad is perfectly content throwing jabs all day and releasing a straight right every 60 or so punches. It's really not all that entertaining watching a guy jab a guy repeatedly for several one sided rounds.

Floyd - While Wlad fights pretty much the same no matter who is in front of him, Floyd will come out and fight differently depending who's in front of him. Floyd is considered boring because he doesn't always put his foot on the gas. He could've been much more aggessive against Marquez but chose not to. He could've opened up more against Hoya down the strecth but didn't. Floyd is a cautious fighter and he's not going to risk his "0" just to please the crowd. Against certain guys, he will open up and put on a fan friendly fight. Against other guys, he will be cautious, and not take many chances in order to secure the win.

Abraham - I don't think many people find him boring.

Wlad is boring because he jabs constantly and is passive. For such a huge guy he should be taking guys out and being more aggressive.

Floyd is not boring to the boxing purist. but to the casual fan he might be. Probably why Manny is more popular than him right now. If they were movies, Sitting down to watch Floyd is like watching an artsy independant movie with a slow moving plot. Watching Manny is like watching an exciting well executed action/thriller.

To be honest watching Floyd is almost watching surgery on the learning channel almost. Interesting, clinical, and you can appreciate the technical brilliance. However there is nothing exciting or visceral that pulls you in.

Thats why Floyd talks so much. He knows his fights don't sell on their excitement alone.

well I think you hit the nail on the head on why people say those guys are boring.

I don't find Floyd boring because he is so versatile and tactical. I don't find Abraham boring because he sets up his opponents and can explode at any time. I find Wlad boring though. He's very 1 dimensional and its a good dimension but his opponents are just too garbage to test it. He's very predictable.

Mayweather and Abraham are not boring.

Klitschko is boring because he just jabs you to death and seems to be afraid to throw a right hand most of the time. There is no variety to his game and when you come anywhere near him, he holds on to you for dear life. Mind you, he's also fighting bums that can't really do anything to him.

Floyd and Wladimir are boring(not equally) yes, but never heard anybody saying that Abraham is dull.
