Why? I don't support fighters who I find to be unentertaining like Dirrell. Where a fighter comes from plays no part in whether or not I become a fan of theirs. Personally I like knock out artists and aggressive fighters like Abraham. Supporting someone from your country just because they're from your country doesn't make any sense to me. I support fighters and am fans of fighters who deliver on aggression, power, and ferocity. While I love and respect a display of boxing skills like Dirrell's, I wish guys like him would leave that stuff in the gym. It's ok to try and not get hit during a fight and be evasive but to run all the time is a whole other story and one I don't particularly care for. Support fighters who give us a good show...then again your definition of a good fight probably differs from mine. You might enjoy watching a fighter who's content with a safety first mentality and a points win, which is fine, however I am not. If the home country fighter stinks I'm not going to route for him. Where's he's from has nothing to do with me being a fan or routing for him.
:happy:yepbbb Dirrell will throw more but not land clean, pot shotting late in the fight. AA shots wil be much more devistating w/ a possible late ko during an exchange. SD or close UD
