That helped Abraham more the Dirrell. Abraham was taking a beating with blood in his eye. The doctor basically closed it and allowed Abraham the chance to recover.

Fact is Cole is a horrible ref. There was a Michigan ref slated and Saurland and ko made them change. He probably would have been far more competant then Cole.

 

That ref Cole is a ****ing disgrace and should never ref again. To blatantly not rule that punch from AA a knockdown in round 9 was ****ing robbery. Even Stevie Wonder could have seen that was a clear as day KD.

 

im from the uk and i was rooting for dirrell he's one of my favorite fighters i think AA sould get banned dirty german !!

 

That was the one where he fell into the ropes right? His knees didn't hit the floor though did they?

I'm still undecided about a lot of it... you can view it from both sides and say he bought both fighters time, it just appeared to be in the heat of the action both the cut and the parting, breaking up the flow etc.. that just kinda annoyed me as I enjoyed Arthur piling it on and Dirrell slipping the punches (most of them)

I just wanted it to fight over, cos I'd have been singing Dirrells praises for a great performance had he survived!

 

as a american i think Dirrell was robbing Abraham of his trademark last rounds of pressure, i cant hit you if you fall to your knees every time i load up.

 

Doesnt matter. The ropes arent allowed to save a fighter from going down.

Technically you cant hold your opponents position with the off hand. I'll have to watch it again if he was really trying to position Dirrell but just ranging him. But even the American commentators agreed that he shouldnt have broke it up/
