What are you talking about??? I see no similarities in the styles, For one thing Dirrell has excellent footwork, where Pavlik has none, Do you watch boxing? What did you see last night that has anything to do with Pavlik's style??????
I'm glad you asked that question. Now you can ask one more... What do you think my answer will be?:yep
Oh yeah. To be honest, I was impressed with Abraham's stamina late in the fight, and that's the ONLY issue he'd have vs. Pavlik. You don't seriously think Pavlik will turn into into a quick slickster, do you?
I said he would get stopped by Pavlik when he was at 160, and still stand by that. That overly defensive **** won't do anything against Pavlik. Pavlik would take whatever few power shots aa lands and break him the **** down. aa is never gonna be the true champ at 160 or 168.
Boo has stated repeatedly that AA's guard can be split. Lujuan Simon did it. Dirrell did it. Neither punch as hard as Kelly. If Pavlik is splitting his guard and hooking behind it and going to the body then AA is going to retreat to the ropes. That is called the beginning of the end when you are in with Kelly.
Easy win for King Arthur. Pavlik is there to be hit. Abraham's chin will hold up longer than Pavlik's. Abraham knocks Pavlik out.
Dirrell isn't even a real puncher and look what he did to AA's face. This was a big step up in competition for him and see what happened? Kelly does much worse to that face.
Considering AA is not a real Super Middleweight, and considering that Kelly Pavlik is not as fast or as active as Dirrell was against AA, I think AA vs Pavlik would have been a lot closer than AA vs Dirrell was. Keep in mind AA moved up in weight to join this tournament.
Pavlik is slower and does not really have much of a defense. Therefore, Abraham hits him, therefore Pavlik gets KOed.
