i thought dirrel pwned him badly in the first 9 rounds beat him and schooled him but in round 10 abraham Kd'd dirrel and the ref didnt call the knockdown you have to understand how fustrated arthur abraham must have felt he was 2 rounds away from losing his undefeated record and he wasnt getting awarded a legit kd (that kd was just as legit as robin reids knock down of ottke) moreover dirrel was always falling to the ground after an abraham punch. TBH i think abraham getting the DQ was a good thing atleast his pride wouldnt have been hurt as badly as may have been the case had the fight gone the distance (with him losing on all the cards)
He didn't have a title to lose. I think he hit him out of instinct, and got disqualified, just one of those things.
Dirrell didn't cheat when his knockdown wasn't counted(getting knocked into the ropes with only those saving you counts as a Knockdown), so there is no sympathy for the dirty cheat and his classless promoters. If they want to do that ****, keep it on their side of the pond.
dirrel is a primadonna Yes he was hurt when abraham punched him on the ground but the drama that followed after leaving the ring, he obviously was trying to play to the cameras with the crocadile tears
I agree, but not that Abraham was getting dominated. I thought he might have won round 3, and I gave him 8, 9, and 10. He was winning the 11th, and would most likely have won the 12th. If he had been credited with the KD, that would be a draw right there. Also, Dirrell's possible KD in the 7th was a pull. He throws a check hook which goes around Abraham's head and throws him into the ropes. Not a bad move, but not a KD either. So basically, I could see Abraham getting a draw and possibly even a win if he managed to drop Dirrell again. Realistically, if the fight went all the way and no other KDs occurred, he might have lost by 2 or 3 points. Also, plenty of fighters have struck opponents while they're down, it happens all the time. It's definitely worthy of a point deduction, and if the other guy can't continue, a DQ. I can't say for sure whether Dirrell was able to continue or not. The punch was right on the jaw and spun his head, but the reaction was really delayed and the absence of any damage is suspicious. I don't know. But bottom line is Abraham ****ed that one up and he could have won it.
In the ring interview post fight he first admits to KO'ing Dirrell and says he should get the win. When he sees the replay and realizes he is in the wrong, suddenly it is acting? Gave all his whiney ass fans an excuse to hang their hats on. For besmirching AD he deserves WORSE than he is getting now.
If i was a fan of Dirrels (which i am in no way) i would be pissed and disgusted with AA. That kind of punch can (probably didn't though, as he ended up being ok) ruin fighters.
And yours isn't? Please. Watch his post fight interview. It is ALL there. I know fact would hinder you too much so you won't do it.
I don't have to. I know what Abraham was up to. I just don't need to post it repeatedly like an obsessed maniac in every thread on the issue. :rofl
So is Dirrell jaw still made of glass?:rofl You know I gotta **** with you, (and dont take it the wrong way because its all fun and games) its time to man up! Come to find out Arthur had the glass jaw!:rofl
Hermit i understand how upset you must be at pavlik for ducking abraham and continuing to pad his record with tomato cans
