Which state is the best in America for producing top level talent?

List your state, then name the fighters that have come out of that system. Also try to limit it to fighters who spent their formative years in your state, rather then being born there and moving at an early age or settling there later in their careers. Ala Sugar Ray Robinson being born in Detroit but spending learning the craft in New York.

Without much thought im leaning towards California or Pennsylvania.

But I'll start with my state.

    Michigan
    -------------
    Joe Louis
    Floyd Mayweather
    Roger Mayweather
    James Toney
    Stanley Ketchel
    Tony Tucker
    George "Kid" Lavigne
    Pinklon Thomas
    Andre Dirrell
    Thomas Hearns
    Chris Byrd

Well Florida does have some serious star power with Roy Jones Jr., Antonio Tarver, Nate Campbell, Winky Wright, Jeff Lacy, Tavoris Cloud and if you count some of the Cuban transplants(I don't but if you did...) Florida is close to being right alongside Michigan.

Thats a damned good list. Stanley Ketchel knocked Jack Johnson down once. He then proceeded to give Ketchel a free dental examine. but he knocked him down!
