well he was at goresbrook lesuire center on friday watchin his brother fight and by all acounts he signed tons of autographs and posed for loads of pictures have u not thought that u may have caaught him on an off day weare entitled to one or two of them
Im just sharing my story, ive met a few boxers, met Tyson Fury at the Bernard Dunne fight, seemed a great guy,met Bernard Dunne,Steve Collins, all were top blokes..,just pissed off that the boxer i was the biggest fan off didnt give me the time of day, even after i paid to see him that same night in the Olympia..
We all have off days. You should have given him a bit back after the minder asked for your missuses photo instead of standing there doing the goldfish impression....;O)
Lot to be said for that but I saw Paul Weller (who was a big hero of mine when I was in my teens) in New York, went up for a chat and he was absolutely superb. I'd have been a bit pissed off if he'd have been a **** so I can see where the OP is coming from.
I've always wondered if Betty had a similar experience years back that made him hate Ricky so much.:think
I bumped into him on Times Square the day before Lewis fought Holyfield at MSG. So I led with the rather predictable "All right Paul, here for the fight?" Not the most searching question but it got the chat going. I didn't want to scare him off by quoting lyrics from his B-sides of 15 years ago!!!
