I know he got knocked out by Allan Green in a minute but I think he a good fighter and he has the skills to be a top 10 Super Middleweight. I think he learned from his lost to Allan Green and he rebounded well from that lost and I think he has a chance to beat Bika or Soliman.

Maybe Sweetness is just a better fighter. Even if they had a rematch I would pick Green to win but I don't think it's a shame to lose to Green. Codrington is a good fighter and I people Under rating him because of one lose. I think he is a top 10 super middleweight.

theres losing then theres getting KTFO within minutes. Green is a limited fighter aswell, that puts into perspective how avaerage Codrington is.

He's fighting nobodies for god sake. I thought he would win the contender pretty easily, but come on. He's not in the ring with world beaters or even real contenders.

Exactly. Codrington can beat up on limited clubfigthers like Wayne Johnsen, but put him in with a top level fighter, and that glass chin will let him down bigtime. :nod

When Codrington fought Green the boy had 9 fights for a total of like 34 rounds. Green was a man facing a boy that night. Once Greens first left hook landed Codrington went to **** because he couldnt handle the heat. Nows he 17-1 alot more experienced and has stepped up his competion but then agian thats not saying awhole lot. Dont know about top 10 Super Middleweight but his chin is weak and he can hit like a truck and we all know that makes for exictment.

A lot of people underrated him with regard to the Contender, personally I think he is the second best fighter of the original 16 on the show this season. But there are a long long way from the Contender to the SMW top 10 where he doesn't belong by a long shot. You also have to take into consideration that he has fought two of the easiest guys possible in the show, making it easier for him to look good.

you guys continue to prove your idiots. I'm so sick of everyone basing the don's career on one fight. they forget he had a great amateur career and hasn't loss since green. he will be super middleweight champion in the near future.

Codrington isn't a bad fighter, he just has a bad chin. Big as well too. To call him limited is underrated though. His defense has holes, but offensively he's quite versatile, and has a better power/speed combination than half the guys rated ahead of him (including Bika). Its his defense that will let him down against Bika though. While Bika's defense is fairly solid, Jaidon's needs serious work. Offensively, he's very similar to Bute - long, powerful, versatile, able to box or mix it up. He comes from more angles than Bute does as well.

Maybe I rated Codrington higher than most to begin with, but he was clearly the #3 favorite for me coming into the competition (among the list of 16 names), and if he can pull off a few more solid wins while protecting that gigantic chin of his, then I see no reason why he couldn't be a top 10 fighter. It would be a stretch for him to win a belt, however, without significantly improving his defense.

Then you under rated him in my opinion.;) I had him no.2 and, if what I have heard is correct, he will meet my no.1 favourite in the final.:D
