Warren needs to start making some serious fights for Macca or his career will be a total waste.

 

Why would the BBB of C stop one of their fighters from having an easy pay day? Sellars had enough of a reputation for the fight to take place and for it to be safe. That is all the BBB of C should be intrested in.

Their mistakes have cost them in the past (Watson); so they would do well to not annoy Warren if they want to stay in business. Let the BBB of C sort out the most important thing in boxing... safety; let the matchmakers match make.

The possibilty of 'hospital bills' is negated by insurance that the promoter has. The NHS would pick up a lot of the cost anyway.

There is no reason to not let this match happen; Enzo deserves a pay day, Sellars too, deserves decent money.

 

Why does Ezra Sellars deserve anything? For fighting once in the past three years?

Enzo can get a paycheck no matter what. He's the champ, he can make just about any fight happen. There are all kinds of guys knocking on his door to fight him, and he'll get paid the same no matter who he fights since he's not even close to being the main attraction. He just needs a live body to do it, not a rotting carcass like Sellers.

Yes as does tapes of Ray Mercer as his pomp against Tommy Morrison but thats hardly relevant when it happened so ****ing long ago and hes shot to bits!

Hell Tommy Hearns makes for terrifying viewing but i doubt anyone from 147 to 160 would be scared of fighting him now !

****ing Joke trying to pass this off as some legitimate contest Warren exploits the "sports fans" culture in this country by passing off some terrible fights as world title bouts knowing fine well the average bloke in the pub will watch anyway indifferent to the shitty opponent through lack of true boxing knowledge !

Finally, a decision I can be proud of. Apparantly things don't always revolve around the almighty dollar, least not in the land of pounds and sterlings.

People forget boxing should be a sport -- it isn't often anymore. Where the best used to compete, a product is now manufactured, marketed and sold. What makes matters worse is that all the strong arms in boxing have an interest in keeping it that way -- they are the ones profiting the most of the circus international boxing has become.

The losers in the equasion? The journeymen and also the very boxers that were once on the beneficiary end of the equasion. Beware when you're a 'name' that no longer has the goods -- I point to Riddick Bowe(now braindamaged), McCall (hauled out of rehab so Lewis could 'avenge' a loss), even former ATG's like Chavez(used to pad the record of DLH and Tszyu) and countless others. Holyfield is an accident waiting to happen. Will it? Who knows. Will anyone care? No-one important. No-one with the power to change a goddamn thing.

Boxing is ruled over by dishonorable men with dollar signs behind their eyelids who use boxers, the ones we admire and come to see, like workhorses, to be used, used up, exploited and discarded.

 

The BBBC can ill-afford another serious injury on their hands. The Watson and McClellan ordeals dug them a deep hole. Sellers was brutally beaten in his last 2 losses and they say Enzo can crack. Throw in the age of Sellers and the ring rust and u've got a dangerous combination.

 

Enzo trying to fight Ezra simply smacks of bad faith and shows a certain lack of confidence. The Ding A Ling man has gloves and I know he will travel. He would have taken that fight in a heart beat but Enzo wants no part of him. I can't blame him, though. Ding is a killer. Can you all imagine Ding hitting someone with 4 ounce gloves in an MMA fight? He would knock Quinton Jackson and Chuck Lidell out could with the first punch he landed.:smoke :smoke :rofl :rofl

 

Yes but would he be able to land on rampage or would he be taken to the ground an tapped out, he would obviously ko lidell.
