Yeah, I felt the same way. Maybe I'm not a fan per se, but I respect him a whole lot more than I did before that fight.

He definitely gained my respect that fight. Even though he is a little guido.

He's a guido ***, but a guido *** with balls and skills. I'm a Paulie fan since the Cotto fight.

And that's why he'll never be the best in his division. Hatton and Witter would destroy him.

I dunno about that. I think he'll beat Witter and Hatton. Boxing is not all about Power and he is good enough to win without using his little power. I think in that Cotto fight he showed he can fight with the best in the world and handle him self. Remember in the Cotto fight Miguel only won by 2 and 2 round and that include a 10-8 round so that means paulie won a good 4 or 5 rounds in that fight. This is fight all propect should have. Before the fight Paulie was just a prospect but when they step him up he showed he was more than a prospect he showed he can be a champion. I think all prospect need a fight like this to show whether they are real or fake.

well and what about Cotto, and the guy still gets knocked around here, while Pauli gets all the scooby snacks, guy was holding for all his worth talked all kinds of mad **** and got his ass simply handed to him. Beat down in Brutal fashion, Magic held on and jabbed and ran and you guys are in a lather. The art of survival had he opend up slightly he wouldve of been KTFO. hOW MANY OF YOU WOULD REALLY BE RIDING HIS JOCK IF HE HAD BEAT COTTO AND DISMANTLED ZAB, GOD IT WOULD BE INSANE

This is Cotto's best win IMO. Judah was a nice win but it was Judah. Malignaggi is a better fighter and Cotto destroyed him.

Are you serious? Paulie was holding all day? If Paulie was holding the whole fight how would Miguel do the damage he did to Paulie? It was a great fight and Cotto gets all the credit for beating Paulie. If Paulie was running Cotto would have not did any damage to him. It's ok that you're a big Cotto fan but don't diss Paulie for that fight. One more Question If Paulie was fighting to survive why did he win round 5,6,7,9,10 in that fight.

    Because Cotto let him.

If you remember, Cotto was having all kinds of trouble making weight at 140.

He only fought in spurts, and I felt the only time he wasn't beating the **** out of Paulie, is when he took rounds off.

The Cotto of 147 is a tenacious, stalker, for most of the round. The 140 Cotto fought in spurts, and has admitted as much. Due to his trouble making weight.

Not one time during that fight did I feel Paulie "won" a round. Miguel gave him rounds. When Cotto wanted to beat him up, he did, and when he wanted to coast, Paulie took advantage and was the busier fighter.

I couldn't stand Paulie before that fight, but he made me a fan, while losing brutally.

I hope to god he isn't serious about a future rematch, at 147 Miguel will damn near kill him.

As for the holding, I have watched the fight several times, and Paulie clearly hung on way more then he has in all his fights combined. I don't blame him, if he didn't he might be severly damaged goods right now.
