Mayweather has tremendous abilities and talents. I'm not a Mayweather fan though. I do however, agree with his belief regarding more stringent testing methods in boxing. :deal

 

Which makes PAC being awarded "FIGHTER OF THE DECADE" even more impressive. Even with 1 legit loss in that time his comp, progression, rise and dominance out weighed anything Floyd had done within that same time period. At least he kept his nice undefeated record.:yep

 

When Mayweather says he is better than SRR, Leanord, Ali (and all the other greats)......do you (the hardcore Floyd fans) seriously believe that?

Didn't Floyd's physician say Mayweather sustained a torn rotator cuff two days before the fight? Face it, Mayweather fought injured in that fight. A rematch was granted and he convincingly beat Castillo the second time around.

Running? Last time I checked, blocking and slipping punches with head movement, shoulder rolls, leaning on the ropes, etc. wasn't considered running.

Absolutely! Floyd knows what he's talking about most of the time and he made some valid points as usual. I don't agree with everything he tries to get across, but as a great boxer and champion I respect what he does in the ring and his approach as a professional to prepare himself. Outside the ring his personality is a bit much.....like he tries too hard. Not to say he doesn't have good qualities b/c it's obvious when he's around his family and kids especially. But I think Floyd comes off corny A LOT! I give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to him "self promoting". Floyd gets people interested based on his flamboyant "character".....Is that really him? I've seen two sides....and I read recently from Ricky's trainer Floyd behind the cameras is really a different guy than what he portrays....

Defending Mayweather because a bunch of haters go around denying facts and making **** up on their own, is not considered being a fan of his. I honestly have never bought a Mayweather fight and the only time I've seen Mayweather fight was against Ricky Hatton. I truly don't like Mayweather but I'm unbiased...(I can get a bit biased when it comes to Cotto though )
