I think I was just upset b/c I wanted to see Dirrell finish the fight even though Abraham was coming on strong late. I have no doubt that Dirrell would have won and wouldn't have gotten KO'd, but I initially reacted like...."AWWW he's faking".....I WAS WRONG. Especially looking at the slow mo replay where the angle was right there. IT WAS A BIIIIIIIIIIG shot! Again.....I really feel bad for my initial reaction b/c Abraham is a massive puncher to say the least and he had leverage and a free target that he took advantage of.

Dirrell decided to take a 15 pound **** on the boxing sport after he had injured #1 boxing rule protect yourself at all time and was hurt a bit for moment by an accidental foul. He was just scared that Abraham could knock him out while he is possibly no longer in his absolute best condition which would have lead to the end of the tournament for him. So hes now 1-1 robbery loss and chicken win. congrats. Shaw talks **** all day long if this guy tells me the sky is blue i would immediately go out to check it.

Yep he deserved to finish it if he could, and I really think he would prefer to fight the last 5 min. and have a good win instead of the controversy.

sure, maybe so, my thing is that delayed KO don't go together with convulsed guys, convulsed guys don't go together with momentary recovery, the first three don't go together with no sign of a concussion.

what did she have to say about that? a clean MRI after getting bashed so hard your brain goes on tilt.

edit: I was responding to a pm I haven't read this thread or todays boxing news. If he indeed suffered a concussion that will definitely go a long way to disprove the acting theory.

Serious question, wasn't there an article that said that Dirrell did not suffer a concussion?

Most people are trying to say that a 'clear mri' means no concussion. Simply not the case. By definition, if you were KO'd, you were concussed. Soft tissue damage, especially to the brain, is an inexact science.

    Thanks.

I still think Direll went to lay down on his own accord after getting punch, then he had the delayed reaction kick in.

Anyone who looks at can't say that the whole thing doesn't look fishy, he's clearly not out at first.

But concussion proves it was legit.

Either way, hope he is able to recover quickly and get back in the ring.

I think he grabbed his head because he was in pain. As to why he was still holding his head when he got up.

He even said "I thought I was hit in the temple, I found out I was hit on the jaw"

Again probably because of his brain being in pain.

Exactly. A KO is a result of the brain getting jarred/rattled/whatever.
