    Hard to say.

Ruiz has been knocked out only once in his career and that was ages ago, by one of the biggest punchers I've seen in the ring (Tua). Some say Haye will KO Ruiz, but imo he probably won't.

I think so. I dont think ruiz has the defense to stop hayes punches or the footwork to get him to clinch

It wouldn't be the first time that Ruiz has been stopped, and in truth he is around 38 years old now, and hasn't done much on the world level in a while. Haye has very fast hands, good technical punching ability and above average power ( though we haven't seen much of it at heavyweight. ) He will also likely be out to make a statement in this fight, and I doubt that he wants it to go to the cards, where Ruiz has the tendency to be a spoiler at times....

I think a technical stoppage with Haye giving Ruiz a sustained beating over several rounds is the likely scenario... But John still has a good chin and savvy survival tactics, so its not out of the question that it might go 12...

    Haye UD12 Ruiz.

You can get 80-1 on Ruiz ko'ing Haye in one.

Great odds but I wouldnt touch it. Maybe five bucks or something? Weve seen Ruiz offset speedy fighters in the past, Johnson, Holyfield, but I dont think Ruiz has much left. Haye should be able to outhustle and outbox him. I dont see Haye trying for a knockout until late in the fight. Kind of think the same Haye by boring decision.

I havent seen Ruiz fight in years but I remember I think it was merchant, that made the most accurate, in my opinion assesment of Ruiz's style
"he doesnt win fights, he just makes the other guy lose"
personally, Ive always respected ruiz to a certain extent, but have never went out of my way to watch him fight

Ruiz has a high end chin and he's an excellent spoiler. Haye has elite power, but is coming off a hand injury in his last fight. ...I hope we can get a knockout, no offense to Ruiz, but I just want Haye to be able to definitively beat this guy, get him out of the way of the WBA rankings and let things with a Klitschko fall into place.

I agree, the only way that there isn't going to be a rematch somewhere down the line is if Haye blasts Ruiz out. Surely even the Klitschko fans would rather see Haye vs Wlad/Vitali rather than Ruiz vs Wlad/Vitali.

Possibly but I don't think its going to happen .

**** the chances of Haye getting KO'ed are actually higher due to his chin ..Haye better keep it tucked and not get sloppy on the Quiet man ..

    WAR RUIZ !!
