Good talent, atrocious technically. If he had really worked the technical side of the game I think he wouldn't have lost some of the bouts he did and he could have ventured into bigger fighters - win or lose.

She watches it but doesn't know much about it these days....

''Why don't they push in scrums''

''He's horrible that Andy Farrell. Don't like him''

My grandad's rugby knowledge is freakish, I wish he'd taken up coaching when he was younger because he was the best coach I ever had, either in league or union..... all he ever did was watch and give tips afterwards, especially on tackling.

    over achieved for me.

poor world title scene enabled him to win a title.

    good european class fighter.

    his awkwardness his chief weapon.

    decent fighter.

    but not truly world class.

    too disjointed. :hi:

Witter majorly overachieved, and was lucky he never got his fight with Hatton.

Would've bounced right hooks off Hattons noggin all night if they'd fought. Apart from that his career was solid.

    And you'er laughing why?

I'm no Hatton fan, but he'd have simply steamrolled and smothered Witter (who can do ****-all inside) and stopped him late.

    Achieved his level.

At British and European level he was dynamite, but when he went into world level he was at time awful (Morua), and his alleged deadly punchpower seemed to dry up.

Regardless of him not fighting Hatton he has had a decent career, but in the light of day he only ever fought 2 young talented world level fighters and he lost to them both.

Spot on. Witter lost so many fans that night, many of them were casual fans from Sheffield, lads who couldnt bear to see someone they followed run away like a big soft *****.
Whatever you say about Hatton he never ran from an opponent albeit this may have contributed to his own downfall.
