Only a couple days until the fight and I still can't pick the winner.:patsch
Here is my suggestion: a micro-analysis:good . Analysis :huh means literally to break a complex problem down into smaller, more manageable "independent" parts for the purposes of
examination — with the hope that solving these smaller parts will lead to a solution of the more complex problem as well. - Wikipedia :deal

Its Easy then, here is my try, feel free to add/remove/correct:

    GENERAL:
    • MK Power
    • JC Speed moving
    • JC Hand Speed
    • JC WorkRate / Number of punches per round
    • JC Stamina / Endurance / Fitness
    • JC Heart
    • D Chin
    • D Boxing IQ
    • MK Consistency
    • MK Accuracy
    • MK Timing
    • JC Agility
    • JC Balance
    • JC Angles
    • MK Strongness
    • MK Anticipation
    • MK Ring generalship
    • JC Killer instinc
    • JC Style Complexity
    OFFENSE PUNCHES:
    • MK Jab
    • MK Straight right hand
    • MK 1-2
    • JC Hook
    • JC Uppercut
    • JC Combinaison
    • JC Variety of punches
    DEFENSE:
    • MK Slipping
    • JC Bobbing
    • MK Blocking with arms
    • MK Covering up
    • JC Clinching
    • JC Footwork
    • MK Pulling away
    MENSURATION:
    • MK Reach
    • JC Height
    OTHERS:
    • MK Making the weight
    • JC Tactics / Strategy before the fight
    • D Tactics / Strategy during the fight
    • JC Corner
    • MK Chance of injuries during the fight
    • JC Judges
    • JC Hometown
    • JC Mental / Stress
    D is for draw.
So according to my chart its: MK 17, JC 23.
Not even close ! We have a new winner: Joe "the welsh man" Calzaghe !!!:happy :happy :happy

    What is your score ?

    age is also a factor

I put my money on Kessler and would be surprised to see him lose but hey I've been wrong before.

    Go Kessler.

I am getting more and more convinced for Kessler to win.

    • Chin - MK untested, JC proven - draw is pure speculation
    • Boxing IQ - again MK has always looked good due to all his opponents being vastly inferior to him. JC sets problems to which he'll have to think for the first time
    • Consistency - JC has consistently won all his 43 fights, roughly half of which were championship bouts, a draw at least, is fair
    • Ability to deliver a one punch KO: MK
    • I'd put another category in: body shots - MK
    • On the ropes: Again, Kessler has never really been there
    Whatever

Can we sub-breakdown the intangibles as well please?

I've got it at 27 Joe Calzaghe against 10 for Mikkel Kessler.

Overall, Calzaghe will be buzzing around the stationnary Kessler stinging him from all angles for a clear majority decision...

    D is for draw.

    20 for Kessler
    17 for Calzaghe

The draws are based on no CLEAR advantage to the other. But we can argue about some of them.
