Haye was sparring with BJ Flores

    'My performance wasn't that great. It was entertaining, good for the crowd,' he said. 'But technically it wasn't as good as I'd have liked because I was taking way too many shots.

    'I was getting some good work done in sparring with BJ Flores but unfortunately he hit me with a good left hand and cut my eye and I wasn't able to spar after that.

    'But I had the belief that even without sparring I was way better than John Ruiz. My padwork was enough. 'The more of these tough fights I have the better I'll become. I'm nowhere near the complete article yet but I'm on the right road.'

    Ruiz, his face badly swollen, will now consider his future after 18 years as a professional boxer. 'Maybe I've been in this game too long and there comes a point when you have to move on with your life,' he said.

    Suure just like haye knocked out arreola in sparring right.,... :hi:
    Next up Haye knocked out Douglas before he went in and Ko'd tyson. he also knocked out tua in sparring before he went 12 with Lewis....
    I don't believe this is public knowledge but it's 100% Just because you add that at then end doesnt make it true,
    And besides sparring is just that sparring. if you cant tell the difference you should find a different sport.
