    I used to be a massive Calzaghe fan but he has disrespected to many current day boxers .... he wouldnt beat froch in my opinion ...

    He still beats Froch but the speedier Americans - Ward, Dirrel, Dawson will be a nightmare for him.

    No chance .. Frochs chin is solid so no way JC getting a stoppage and hes not shrewd emough now to beat Froch ,,,

    If a past it Jones Jnr can floor him then a prime Froch I would favour doing the same ...

    Nah, he outworks Froch every day of the week, easily, Froch is limited as ****

    I think if he does come back they should demand olympic style drug tests from him IMO.

    That's fair enough. But I reckon that's more down to being slower and a possible deterioration in punch resistness as opposed to being less shrewd.

    Rememnber when Jones floored Calzaghe and took him the distance, he was shot to **** and also went on to schoolLacy, Calzaghe's biggest win. I dont want to be to negative but I dont really rate Calzaghe as great in any way at all.

    Yes froch looked exceptional in his last fight, really surpassed any of calzaghe's performances.

    I can see JC coming back , due to a mixture of boredom and not being able to handle the fact that Froch is on the verge of pissing all over his record. I think he truly expected Froch to have been beaten by now, but he's gone on to beat Taylor and Dirrell. Imagine if Carl goes on to beat Kessler (Joe's biggest win) and Abraham!! I don't think JC will be able to handle it.
