"Ricky Hatton aint nothin but a fat man, im gonna punch him in his belly when I see him"

"Does he really want to step in the ring with the best fighter in the world and embarrass himself?"

"When I retire, I'll get Ricky Hatton to wash my clothes, mow my lawn and buckle my shoes"

It used to be frustrating. Then sad. Now it's just plain funny. Every time Floyd Mayweather tries to caricature and stereotype people from other cultures, like clockwork, his habitués defend that sort of oleaginous, impudent behavior. Here's my side of the story: If we fail to yank up the worst types of self-deceiving scalawags there are from the dark rocks under which they hide and flaunt them before the bright sunshine of public exposure then all of our sacrifices will be as forgotten as the sand blowing across Ozymandias's dead empire. The "decay of that colossal wreck," as the poet Shelley puts it, teaches us that Mayweather's factotums claim to have no choice but to destroy the values, methods, and goals of traditional humanistic study. I wish there were some way to help these miserable, clumsy backbiters. They are outcasts, lost in a world they didn't make and don't understand. Summa summarum, whenever I ponder over the meanings and implications of Floyd Mayweather's disreputable notions, I feel little peace.

It's just smack talk. Ali said much, much worse things about his opponents.

Some of it is a little disrespectful, most of it is just typical prefight trashtalk.

He's not the only fighter out there who has made disrespectful comments about his opponents, either. Many past and present have said worse.

Come on now, we all know that's the fight selling persona. No need to hate the person behind it. Watch the Corrales postfight interview if you want to see the real Floyd Mayweather and not Money May, chances are you'll like that guy. He even spells it out there "I'm here to sell myself." or smth like that he says.

Didn't you read the name of the TS? Do you know where Floyd is from?
