My apolgies, I meant McClennan. For you it is silly talk. You are pretty much judging RJJ as you see him now. If none of the losses would had happpend then how would you see it. RJJ was too fast and with power at 160 and 168. I really could have seen Benn down a couple of times before it got stopped.

I think Arthur would be overwhelmed

I fancy Nigel to beat the lot of them but the Dirrel fight would be one frustrating night for all concerned.

I'm not so sure. Benn was a murderous puncher at 160 but at 168 while still had good power he wasn't as effective, just as AA isn't.

He certainly give all the Super Six fighters a good fight, but would probably end up winning around 50%. There's a big difference between a big strong middle like Benn and a big strong SuperMiddle like Froch.

For the same reason I don't agree with Froch's intention to move up to 175 after the SuperSix. He won't be anywhere near as effective

He lost abit of speed at SMW, too, even relative/lb4lb speed slightly.

Benn would be no. 5 or 6, depending on who he would replace.

The SMW division back then was VERY thin, and the World championship was the same as the UK championship. No other country in the world was interested.

Today, the division is more loaded than ever before.

I don't think so. I always saw this fight in my mind and Roy outclassing Been easily. Barkley was a swarmer and open, and Doug Dewitt almost beat Benn. So Roy would have beaten him easily enough. 4 round knockout.

Doug DeWitt almost beat Benn? That was one of the most horrific one-sided beatdowns I've ever seen.

Benn would beat them all. And he'd stop AA to boot.

spot on. Ward is the only one with any real chance, but i agree it's hard to call. Benn is just such a concussive fighter, not the most skilled technician but just awesome to watch! Benn would definitely be the outstanding favourite for the tournament.

the 1st video on this thread is my favourite of Benn.

That stare at Eubank is immense, severe hatred!

The man had a lot of anger in him, a true warrior and animal in the ring

It's funny everyone here is saying Ward would beat Benn. Besides Dirrell, Ward has the shakiest chin out of all of them. I saw Boone, a journeymen, drop and hurt Ward badly.

Sure Ward has improved since that fight but Benn has real power and is much better than a journeymen (obviously). I think Benn beats all of them to be honest.

AA probably has the best chance because of his one punch power, but I think Benn would hurt him early and AA would go into survival mode (same with Kessler).

Froch would get blasted out, his style is just not one that does well against Benn.

I think Dirrell gets broken down late and Green gets taken out mid rounds or so.

Don't start that **** please. I am from England and I hate it when the Americans start talking like that, so PLEASE don't start saying our rules and fighters are more honest then theirs because its all the same **** at the end of the day.
