    we have a winner!

All the usually sword swallowing tools on here blowing smoke up his arse - what a joke.

Lee is after beating Belgcham and has made himself available for this fight but Barker prefers to tussle with the likes of McKay, McDermott and Bulter.

I cant wait til this fella becomes an advertisement on the canvas, if only just to shut the ignorant smug English wanks on here up! :good

I think Barker could be something special.

I want to see Barker-Lee (if Barker wins obviously) once again another obvious fight to make. This is a fight that would make lots of money and would garner loads of interest, I think we are overdue a major England-Ireland dust up like this. I think we can all agree that the winner of this gains a lot more from beating the other then by beating some unknown fringe contender.

Crampton, mckay , butler, mcdermott ,mc intosh , samuels...... thats a resume sugar ray leonard would be proud of lol. This guy has been babied his whole career and has avoided big punchers ever since mcintosh and samuels floored him.Ive watched him closely for the last few years and im pretty sure any puncher with a just a hint of boxing ability would ko barker and if im wrong i will hold my hands up........

He's finally here. I've been calling you out on this thread since I started it. How they hanging fella?

Proksa will be a decent test for Barker and would be a decent test for Lee.

which ones proska? is he the light middle stepping up or is he the one whos magic? i know its him or pirog but can never remember which ones which, if its the light middle stepping up then barker should do him but if its the magic bloke that macklin avoided then hes in trouble.

He's the light middle stepping up. He may well struggle with Barker's height.,

Always find the Lee vs Barker threads funny. Always funny seeing certain posters getting wound up and crying.

Its because at the end of the day they are both unproven.

Still think Barker has all the Hallmarks of a champ though!!!

For all the English/Irish hype job taunts the fact is neither Lee or Barker have done anything yet.Barker looks good but his chin is a worry while Lee seems fragile at times a fight between them in the late summer would give the winner a real boost but leave the loser struggling to reach a decent level.I think Barker would win but base that on what I think he is capable of rather than any solid evidence and would not be shocked if Lee won.At least we have in the UK and Ireland a couple of guys who have potential(add McEwan to the mix aswell) along with Macklin who is a bit further on and the likes of Bradley Saunders just starting out we can look forward to a good series of fights even if none of them reach true world class.

Proksa would be a better test than Andy Lee. He hasn't lost to Brian Vera yet...

i enjoy the banter myself , everyone can say there not biased but 90% of the time when its a close pick the english posters pick the english guy and the irish posters pick the irish fighter its just natural , however im pissed off these fights dont seem to happen as often as they should
