    yes.

applied with a bit of the aggressive style he had when he fought floyd...but not so much where he gassed himself out...while floyd was simply deflecting and countering then becoming the ring general in the later rounds.

The best way to get at Mayweathers chin is to counter him. If you can back up yourself and hit him with a straight, you have a chance to test that chin of his. You will not hit his chin with 'pressure pressure pressure'.

Man that would be an excellent fight. It'd prob bring out the best of Floyd, better than what we saw against Hatton. I agree also, Ray Leonard is the perfect fighter to beat FM.

something similar to pacquiao style: southpaw with punchin power who can put constant nonstop-pressure twelve rounds, vary tactically and still be able to finish up with a KO punch.

pac fans are the worst... the only fight he was ever seriously tested and arguably lost was against an orthodox bully named castillo who was on him the whole fight roughing him up, pac is an in and out side to side boxing southpaw, they are 2 completely different styles, pacs bouncing in and out will allow may to catch him over and over again pot shot after potshot to an easy victory

Duran's style. Or SRL's blend of skill, natural athleticism, and champion's heart.

It's not a "style" that will beat him. It is a fighter. Nobody, not even very good fighters, is gonna walk into a ring with Floyd and "fight a certain style" and beat him. He is too good, too versatile, too smart. If "Castillo's style" is the "style" to beat him then what the hell happened in the rematch. Look Floyd was injured in the first fight and still arguably won the fight, in the rematch he answered any unanswered questions.

I think you need speed, skill, intelligence, mental toughness and stamina. Those are a necessity, then you also have to possess many other qualities to win a fight against a guy who ALWAYS appears to be in control, who doesn't care about pleasing the crowd so is extremely disciplined, who is defense first and who can fight going forward or backwards.

Speed - Skill - Intelligence - Mental toughness - Stamina:

Judah: Had the skill, speed and some stamina but lacked the Intelligence and Mental toughness which is why Floyd eventually adjusted and broke Judah down

Hatton: Had the Stamina, Mental Toughness and Speed but it was clear in there that he lacked the Ring Intelligence, Skill which is why he never recognized Floyd setting up the "check hook" the entire fight, and also he never adjusted his attack when he saw the fight slipping away.

Castillo: Had the Stamina, Mental Toughness, Intelligence but lacked the Speed and (compared to Floyd) Skill.

It goes on and on..... It doesn't matter what strategy you have, if you have weaknesses Floyd will eventually recognize and exploit them. Which is why it doesn't take a "style" to beat him, it takes a fighter as great as him to beat him.

    Great question!

    People keep saying constant pressure........

I am not sure i agree. He will back foot all night long and pop shot. I think he likes fighters coming on to him.

I think a super slick southpaw who can also adapt their style would be a good challenge for him. Zab Judah with 12 rounds worth of stamina and more mental strength could possibly be the one.

I am someone that belives there is no one in the division that can beat him so i cant really pick a current boxer. However the people that pose the biggest threat and have a good chance of beating him are Mosley and Pac man.
