Just finished watching the latest one, they just keep getting better. Absolutely shits on 24/7. HBO better step their game up
it was always going to get better when they can show the previous fights aswell as just build-up. most of that episode was the dirrell-abraham fight. 27/7 only shows the build-up leading to the fight, so it's not going to be as good as this.
dirrell is not even that good of an actor, and it was quite obvious he was looking for the d/q when abraham landed that punch.
True. 360 has 6 fighters and 3 upcoming fights to base an episode on. 24/7 has only 2 figthers and 1 fight to work with. So in that respect yes, 360 has more in the pot to make something. However I just don't like the way the latet 24/7's have been going. They focus less on boxing now, and the significance of the fights, as well as the fighters. Seeing as though it's primarily aimed towards casual fans/less hard core, you'd think they'd make an effort highlight and sell the fighters themselves
24/7 relies on the boxers character, if a boxer hasn't got character then the chances are it'll turn out to be boring. floyd is the perfect example of that, he's a lippy fighter that can hype it all up while the likes of pacquiao and hatton were all being nice, so 24/7 had to relie on the trainers to hype it up.
Two completely different shows... i prefer fight camp but the latest episode was more of a review than a build up - and thats great, but 24/7 cannot do that... pure build up... there is no previous fight to go through
AA in detroit was gas from the rapping to the shitty folk music:rofl. Love seeing shaw and sauerland nearly have a heart attack at ringside
