Maia Vs. Silva is a ****en joke

He was the best available opponent since vitor got injured and marquardt and schonen just fought.

 

seriously.. do people forget how close to defeat silva was against lutter??
maia deserves respect. He gets **** for losing to marquardt but you cant judge him on that fight. It was a good shot but had maias head not bounced off the canvas like a basketball the result may well have been different. whos to say??
ive said it before, this fight has upset of the year written all over it..

 

I hope Silva moves up after this fight. It's doubtful anyone at this weight is gonna put Silva to the test. Marquardt may be able to, but he's already been tooled by Silva once so that is unlikely.

Silva isn't a youngster and I wanna see him put to a serious test before he gets long in the tooth. Please no fights against Sonnen or Belfort after this. If Silva truly does have a limited number of fights left in his career, those guys are just another waste of a fight and time.
