Merchant is the best HBO have, he might take a wee while to get his words out but when he is done speaking he makes some good points so STFU

 

I hope you're ****ing happy when Kellerman takes his spot permanently. You'll deserve all the insight you get then. Merchant is an old ass man but you won't find anyone better.

He is the only reason why HBO coverage is interesting.

 

Larry is cool, bro. What other guy would have the balls to go on a national broadcast after gulping on some Johny Walker. And he still makes sense, even if it takes him longer to do so. Larry is a legend, he's untouchable.

 

His boxing knowledge is superficial, sometimes making his colourful comments seem without substance. He's also a drama queen. But he comes in handy for action sequences. He should really leave analysis up to the pros though.

 

Merchant deserves a nice quiet retirement. He is done.

you can be at home drunk or wherever... he'll make you agree...or scream at the tube.

I thought he was just old and takes time to put his thoughts together. Didnt know HBO let him drink on the job like that. Learn something new everyday.
