Stipulation #1: loser must retire. Stipulation #2: so must the winner. The winner, however, gets the entire purse, which leads me to... Stipulation #3: the loser goes to bed without any dinner.
Harrison would take that fight in a heartbeat, unfortunately Holyfield probably has his eyes set on bigger names. Quite like the idea of a "loser must retire" match in boxing, let's do in WWE-style and make it no DQ too! Harrison to win with a sledgehammer.
Prime Holyfield might have been able to hang with Audley well enough to lose a wide decision, but current Holyfield gets knocked out within three rounds.
Dont encourage them, although vaguely intriguing. Holyfield should have retired long ago, he has nothing to prove and is obviously doing this to help pull him out of financial trouble unless he really believes he is at the standard he was 15-20 years ago. If this was the early 90's, he would probably have a very good shot at the Klitscho's and be a serious contender, probably beating them quite easily. If he fought Harrison at his prime he would knock his ****ing head off, propb still would now. Harrison is a wasted talent. Seriously. Ive said it a few times, he has all the attributes required to be a serious contender but he lacks the heart and mind of a champion. He looks absolutely terrified every time he steps in the ring and packs his load when someone throws a punch at him. Although his knockout over Sprott looked impressive, it must be the jammiest ****ing lucky stroke of luck he will ever have. He was behind on all the judges cards and on the way out of boxing. He clearly knew that. He a may get a title shot - but unlikely he will stand a chance. IMO - Comfortable fight for Holyfield - win on points or late TKO.
If this fight did happen and Audley won...can you imagine how much he would brag "I beat the man who beat Mike Tyson, i know im going down in history"
Compared to the other guys Harrison has beaten in his career so far I'd say a win against an aging Holyfield would be the best win on his resume by far. It wouldn't happen though, Holyfield would stop Harrison before the 10th for sure.
On the one hand, southpaw jabber with long reach is horrible for Holyfield. On the other hand, when Holyfield was able to seriously bring the heat you wonder if Audley could stand it. Audley has virtually no inside game. I know that Holyfield will be the popular choice because hey, people hate Audley generally and Holyfield's a legend. But this is actually a fairly tricky fight to pick. It's not always the guy with the most courage or 'worth' that wins a fight... Push comes to shove, I'd do what I've done in the past and back Holyfield's determination to break through and stop Audley. But an Audley win would not shock me either.
You serious,he`s defending his euro title against someone, then Hearn his promoter will look to get him in against wbc champ Vitali, you think he wants knocking out again before he gets there?
