WHo would win IF Bute and Froch fought right now

Froch goes back when he gets hit so no, he's not like Andrade. He doesn't pressure as much either. Froch doesn't have what made Andrad a tough opponent for Bute. Even if he would, Bute got rid of Andrade the second time...

We'll never know until Bute grows a pair and starts fighting the elite at 168 rather than his usual steady stream of bums, cans and former victims in the safety of his comfort zone.

 

I would guess Froch would find a way to beat Bute. Good match up

 

Froch would have to weather some quick flurries of punches early on, but eventually Froch would catch him up stopping Bute around the 10th.

 

Froch has a punchers chance, but most likely Bute boxes the **** outta him.

 

During the first 6 rounds of Taylor/Froch, Jermain couldn't miss with the left hand. Bute is just as fast as Taylor, and hits way harder.

 

Bute by KO even if it was in England, Froch won't even be able to bodyslam or score back of the head knockdowns.

 

Just think hed catch up with Bute in the end

 

Bute has power to ko anyone since he ko Andrade but he doesn't punch like Froch. Froch is to slow for Bute imho.... or Bute is to fast for him however u want to put it. Carl doesn't cut the ring well and he doesn't struggle in clinches to free himself and hit his opponent(Bute's biggest flaw).IDK might be just me but i think Froch is hard to hit (he has an awkward style ) and he has a good reach and he's extending that reach by leaning forward on his leading left punch(sometimes) and when he doesn't do that he's packing power in his right hand that follows. Froch has a very good chin so he'll be able to take some punishment and unless is something like that short left hook or a brutal punch to the body he won't get ko'ed. Bute UD I'm not a boxing expert this is how i see it.

 

Bute is a freaking huge supermiddle. I'm not voting on the poll as I have no clue who would win. Froch has a tendency to defy his lack in ability and win. Logic dictates a Bute late round win by TKO however.

 

Froch would hang tough during the early rounds but by the mid rounds Froch would be catching a beatdown he would try and make a go of it and last a few more rounds but by the 10th or 11th Bute finishes him off.

 

Bute has ridiculously short arms for someone his height so he'll have to come in close to land his punches and that'll bring him within striking distance of Carl's venomous bombs - Bute will get KO'd.

 

The blueprint on beating Bute has already been provided by Andrade: iron chin, iron will, non-stop come forward aggression and good workrate. Froch has all of that. Froch TKO mid to late rounds.
