This version of Holyfield can definitely stop Harrison. That is not a stretch at all. The problem with Harrison is that he has no boxing skills.
The only reason Harrison is still fighting is for a shot at the world title, and I think the Holyfield route is more likely to get him there than defending the euro title. I can see him giving up the euro title to get the holyfield bout if the chance came up - holyfield is still a name and a victory over him would propel harrison into the world title picture whereas a successful euro defence doesn't have the same cachet on the world stage. Harrison would still lose but the above thinking makes sense and $$$.
Yeah, I don't think you can question Audley's heart - most men would have given up the dream long ago. He is mocked, ridiculed and jeered by his own countrymen but he refuses to walk away from his dream of the world title. You can't knock that. There's a small part of me that's beginning to respect the guy.
Oddly enough, I am too. To keep carrying on this long after the mere mention of his name was considered the punch line to one of the biggest jokes in boxing shows a good deal of heart. The easy way out would've been for him to just hang 'em up years ago, take his money, and get the hell out of boxing.
IF that happened & Audley did come out with out with some bull**** statement such as that, I'd pay Tyson to KO him in the street! Outside the ropes, Tyson would "put it on Harrison" & Audley knows it!
