The fight wasn't the best, but the buildup, it was epic.

(especially in the uk, not to sure about in usa?)

i was never interested in hatton, the only times i watched him fight live were when he fought pac, floyd and malignaggi, all the other fights i either watched it a week later or not at all.

I was very entertained for the fight as was everyone at the fight party I threw...Most of us had Floyd winning including myself but a few fans at my party were "sure" that Ricky would knock Floyd...A LOT OF HATTON FANS DISSAPEARED AND WERE NEVER TO BE SEEN ON ESB AFTER THAT NIGHT TOO...

I had my money on Floyd. Never been sold on Hatton especially as a WW. Thought Floyd would win by decision though. Gotta give him props for managing the KO. Also thought Cortez was terrible.

Never thought much of Hatton he was good enough to beat clowns like Paulie but against the true elites of the sport he didnt have a chance in hell,as for the fight Mayweather did what he had to do and knocked him out but the fight was average at best.

i was amazed that it took floyd about 4-5 rounds to adjust.Hatton's straights were jump ins and i thought he would have gotten into his groove faster than he did.Sure enough, his eye was swelling a little bit after the first few rounds but that didn't last.People have never adjusted midmatch to Floyd from what I've seen but he sure as **** can adjust to them.
