And Kessler helt 2 of them and challenged Calzaghe for the third (technically also the fourth since Calzaghe dropped the IBF belt to fight Manfredo). You are undermining your own arguments...

Calzaghe beat Kessler 9-3. 8-4 if you're being generous. What are you smoking?

Its not the fact I dont rate Kessler. He'd be a good fighter if he learned to move his head. Its the fact that he's going to be 4 time world champ proves how easy it is to win a belt these days, especially if you are fighting in a weak division.

You are the one saying the SMW division is weak not me. And again you neglect to acknowledge the fact that Kessler held the WBA and WBC and tried to unify against Calzaghe.

I never said Kessler was a ***** did I? I said he will likely be 4 time champion without really beating any champions.

Beyer was champ when Kessler beat him... If he beats Froch then he will have beaten another champ...

Siaca was the WBA champ as well. Sartison is the only time Kessler collected a belt without beating a titleholder. Meanwhile, Cotto has collected 3 belts across 2 divisions without beating a single champion.

Yeah you're right Reg. I actually to this day thought the fight was for the vacated belt, but Siaca apparatly won that belt of Mundine. Well wadda ya know you learn something everyday

    alphabet soup, man
the only time kessler was actually viewed as lineal champ was in the vacuum created by calzaghe's withdrawal - i don't think that's unjust.
froch successfully defended his title against taylor and dirrell, so that will definitely be kessler's best victory if he gets it.

Beyer was "a" champ. Did you not get the Valuev reference I made above?

Honestly, I can't complain about Kessler's comp. He's done pretty well considering what he's had to work with.

MW if you're a Ward fan why would you make a thread trying to discredit Kessler as a fighter and his credentials?

Well Cotto did beat Mosley. And Quintana's not a bad champ, has a W over a top 10 P4P opponent.

Cotto's competition is still miles ahead of Kesslers even if he was the king of vacated titles.

Pathetic thread trying to discredit a fighter who has ducked no one.
