It would be huge and let's hope so.

There does appear to be complications for Wembley as this sort of a venue though, otherwise we'd have seen a few like events held there - I think cost is possibly a big aspect.

Still Haye v Wlad would no doubt be huge. Why not Old Trafford? Funny how Haye went up to Manchester last time out?

100% yes! They will put out 10,000 or so £30 tickets for all the **** seats and then it will go upto £250 for the outer seating. Seating aroung the pitch will be from £300 to 750 and ringside will be £1000+.

If he can sell 60,000 tickets against Wlad in Germany when he wasn't a champ i'm sure he'll **** 100K now in the UK!

I still think the Millenium Stadium is a better choice though!

It all depends on the pricing. Top tier seats would have a terrible view but at £15-£20 they would sell. Personally I would put up with a not great view just to BE THERE. You can always watch the fight back on Sky +; you don't get many chances to be in a crowd like this one will be. Agree that Millennium Stadium with the roof would be better than Wembley.

If the prices are right (starting tickets £20-) then yes, otherwise no.

I think so. English fighter vs Germany based fighter should make it appealing to the football hooliganb crowd, plus it's a heavyweight title fight. Wladimir is not massively well known in England but more so than Mikkel Kessler was prior to fighting Calzaghe and that fight had 50 odd thousand people at it. Plus it doesn't take long to fly from Germany to London, I bet a few would come over for it.

The lack of a roof is a worry, if recent summers are anything to go by it could be a wash out. I think the timing would have a big factor on the gate as well. If it was early hours for the US tv audience that would definately effect the attendance. But Wembley does have prestige (World Wide) and they would make **** loads on the corporate side. For the "ordinary" fan Cardiff would be a better option. I think there is still a chance that it could happen in Vegas (say December) Thousands would go for the week just for the atmosphere & watch the fight in one of the lounges. I just hope that the egos don't stop this fight - remember Lewis-Bowe?

Best place for this would be Villa Park or Elland Road. Somewhere reasonably central, good transport links and about 35k capacity.

Having said that I'm still dreaming of watching a World title fight on Wimbledon centre court. Someone, somewhere has to be able to make this happen!

Somehow I dont think the 60k in Germany were all Haye fans.
