finally....most likely the winner of this will be crowned "The Ring" champ.. Ibragimov struggled with Austin, got a draw, was nervous against Holyfield and a little gun shy with Briggs...Ibragimov is a southpaw and whats the #1 southpaw killer?? the straight right hand and who else in boxing today has a heavyer hammering straight than Wladimir Klitschko?? what I DONT want happening is another sloppy Corrie Sanders K.o..or imma be really pissed off...I strongly doubt it cuz if Ibraggy couldnt dispatch a smaller ancient holyfield chin or a shaky ray austin jaw...then i shouldnt worry much about him....Before Thrashing BYRD for the belt, he rebounded to hammer Sam PETER and hurt him late, then whistled through BROCK, AUSTIN, and BREWSTER... KLITSCHKO will ruin yet another undefeated record...
in the works..official....its happening...its not Vitali fighting, no injury delays... its OFFICIAL in my book...unless Ibraggy gets shot...
This fight will not happen, Iggy's team can not be that dumb. Iggy knows he will be knocked out, I mean look what Wlad did to Austin, the same guy Iggy had the draw with.
I have read that negotiations are under way and in development, which means that anything can happen. But I hope that it does. I have also read that Wlad wants to fight at MSG and that a date of feb 23rd has been set aside there.
1) This is great news. The winner will be Champ. 2) The Ring won't crown the winner. Only the winner of Klitschko-Peter and Klitschko-Maskaev would win the Ring belt, which is stupid. Especially because Wlad already has defeated Peter and Maskaev has been a year inactive.
Things dont always work like that. Charles Shufford wasnt worthy of being Vlads sparring partner, the fight was a total mismatch. But guess what Shufford defeated Lamon Brewster handily, but look what happend to Vlad in the first fight. By logic Brewster shouldnt of even been allowed to fight on the undercard , much less fight Vlad himself. Sutlan was in bad shape, really didnt train for Austin or take him seriously. He has a much better trainer now, Jeff Mayweather.Judging Sultan on one fight is a mistake. Vlad lost to Ross Purritty early in his career that has to be worse? Sultan only has 22 fights as of now , Vlad had 24 fights when he lost to Ross Purrity.
I see your point, but with Sultans new fighting style he will not even be able to do anything against Wlad. I mean if his timid to engage against Holyfield what do you think will happen when he gets in the ring with Wlad? Theres no way in hell Sultan can out box Wlad, and ever since he was knocked down against Austin he seems to not want to engage like he used to. So let me ask you this, how do you see Sultan beating Wlad?
