Did you watch the whole video or were you just in the mood for being a cliche?

It's OK to defend your fighter no matter what he does (or doesn't), so relax.

I get the sarcasm in it, but that's just what worries me... This looks to be to soften up the statement Wladimir made, instead of responding seriously.
And about your point earlier, there are a lot of boxers who avoided the best their whole career, to huge frustration of the fans. And fighting Valuev or Mormeck in their backyard isn't that much of a achievement if they aren't 'strong' champions.

I wont defend him if he doesn't fight either of them. And when he does I expect either of the Klit brothers to KO Haye.
I don't let bias cloud my judgement. Anyone who objectively looks at what Haye has done in his career regarding seeking big fights and taking risks, would be lying if they said he has show the tendency to take easy options and duck challenges that push him.

Same as Hatton. Everyone called him a ducker and a coward, and I said I was convinced he would fight PBF and convinced he would lose. So all the same idiots who called him a coward then switched to crowing about his loss when it came. And that's pathetic.

Well Mormeck was the ring champion, so the best he could fight. Adam Booth did that interview yesterday and said that he will know more on Thursday as he is due to have talks with Finkel. I think Hayes next fight might be Adamek. And I would expect the one after that to be a Klit brother. But time will tell.

There were a few name heavyweights who challenged Haye directly before and after he announced his fight against Barrett, weren't there?

You mean we heard people say "I will fight him"? Yeah Toney said he would fight him, so did Rahman. I bet you guys would have given him all the respect in the world for those fights. Instead he fought for a title, which gives him far more leverage in negotiating with the brothers.

Harrison and Hopkins have both said they want Haye and he has rightly dismissed both ideas as stupid. People looking for a pay day will often throw their name in, that is a long way from a fight being agreed or even plausible. And how was fighting Valuev after the Barrett bout "ducking a challenge"?
You mean that if a boxer is called out, he should fight every single person who calls him out? Surely you are not being serious?

No, no, no, man, cut the BS and stick to your original statement.
You said Haye never opted for easier fights and always took risks against the best.
I offer you a fact and you start flooding me with half a page of irrelevant stuff.
Haye opted to fight Barret instead of riskier available opponents at the time, didn't he?

Let me get this right. You are saying that in Hayes career a stand out feature has been his unwillingness to take on challenges and to duck tests? Just confirm that is your stance please.
Who were the fighters he ducked for the easy option? Name them please and tell me what you know about the actual offer they made.

popularity alone doesn't warrant a 50/50 split poor example i mean did calzaghe get a 50/50 split against hopkins when they fought.

If that's the idea you got then it's wrong.
My stance is that he's the same as everyone else - ducks some and risks some. I'm simply pointing out that your stance of describing Haye as some mythical hero is a bit... romantic, should I say.

If I remember correctly he was challenged by James Toney, Shannon Briggs and Hasim Rahman. All three despite their obvious flaws are better and more dangerous than Barrett. Haye chose Barrett.

Most famously, he pulled out of a fight with Kevin Johnson to face Barrett.
