This fight would be resumed in a sentence:

    "Another huge uppercut by Berto"

Seriously people I dont see why you cant see this cottos kryptonite are the uppercuts and of the best uppercuts in the game are the one berto throws, late tko for berto I would say...

Cotto is damaged goods right now,so the fight with Berto would be real competitive and close early on,But berto would eventually get broken down and his shaky chin aint gonna help him out at all

    Cotto TKO11

First uppercut combo thrown by Berto changes the complexion of the whole fight. And the second one changes the complexion of Cotto's career.

I voted Cotto. If we were talking a pre-Margarito Cotto, it wouldn't even be a question. Cotto would kill 'em. However, if they were to fight tomorrow, I would still pick Cotto, just in a highly competitive match that, honestly, could go either way. It's ashame Cotto moved up to 154, I think Cotto/Berto could of actually happened. Off subject, I look forward to Cotto losing to Cory Spinks at his new weight.

I sure hope he beats Foreman. So we can see if Bob Arum will have the guts to finally put him in the ring with a guy who has been begging for three years now to fight him. PW.

Yuri Foreman got a gift decision against Anthony Thompson a few years back. Cotto is going to woop him, bad. I doubt Arum let's The Punisher get his hands on Cotto. But, now that you mention him, does Williams/Spinks sound any good to you? If Quintana outboxed Williams before, I would say Spinks would at least have a boxer's chance?

No. No chance. Spinx got mugged by Zab ****in Judah. Paul would smother, cover, and dice his ass like Waffle House hash browns. I would rather see a Paul-Quintana rubber match to silnce the fools who think the KO1 was a fluke.

Zab Judah was a different fighter back than. A much better fighter. Spinks has a win, although not as impressive as Zab's, over Judah as well. If Paul tried to be an aggressor and over pursued, he would get outboxed by a slick southpaw like Cory. I'm a big Cory fan, though, so, I guess I may be a bit bias. Paul would probabley beat Spinks, no doubt.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking. The poll results are a perfect example of the public always realizing a year or two too late that their fighter is past it. Cotto has been past it for about a couple years now. Berto is entering his prime and looked sharp as **** against the slippery, tricky, and awkward Quintana. His power is nothing to sneer at either. Berto would batter the **** out of Cotto. Folks are delusional!

I think even a Cotto at this stage in his career breaks down and knocks Berto out late.
