Audley reportedley vacates the title to fight Klitschko in December

There no reason Audley can't make a defence if a Klitschko fight would be in December.

Plenty of time for another fight to cement himself as a true contender. I wish some fighters would get a bit busier.

Over at the scene there's an article stating that Dimitrenko has dropped his fight on the Chagaev-Meehan card to concentrate on a fight with Audley in July.

 

A Harrison - Klit sisters matchup is no more unlikely than a Richard Dunn - Ali fight

 

Anyone who'd actually want Audley-Klitschko as a world title fight surely cannot criticize any other world title fights that feature such utterly undeserving challengers of Audley's standing.

No wonder the alphabet boys feel they can get away with anything.

 

This would be god awful, 8 months wait for rubbish.

In fairness to Audley, he looked really shaky in the fight last Friday, I dont think he would last that long at even European level, either of the Klits would have him of there in no time. I think it would be a pointless match-up.

Time is not on the side of the Klits, Vitali more so, and I want to see them in better fights than this.

 

Harrison is not at bad as many guys make him, but he is very far from being a world contender (he is a low Top-40 IMO). Defending vs. Dimitrenko would be really difficult for him.
So looking for a Klitschko fight is just another way of admitting that he's too bad to stay Euro-champ for long (and earn a big title-shot).
