Oh goodie! There's more! Someone from Brazil just told us (from a thread on SD) some of what Silva and his corner were saying during and between the rounds of the fight. This just keeps getting better and better! (And by better, I mean worse) I haven't initiated a thread in here for over a year. ** "Maia disrespected me.. " A guy screaming across the octagon like a lunatic for 3 rounds and offending Demian personally on an event that's being televised live all over the world and so on.. 1) "Where's your JJ your Playboy.." 2) "Look at the red (blood) running through your face... ha, ha!" 3) "This is for you to stop talking crap your piece of sh!t... !" 4) "Mr. Bean" - Feijao - screaming from his corner telling Maia go get up to get beaten up some more... "show this fkin Playboy" 4) Not to mention the other bits that we couldn't catch due audio. Enough is enough. I feel offended as a Brazilian National and as a BJJ Practitioner for 29 years - I'm 38 year-old. I really hope that his next opponent being of any, I mean any Nationality shut Anderson's big ego down and finish him on Jiu Jitsu. Someone has to do it in name of this noble art that himself has disrespected. Maluco Yeah, that's a real ****ing martial artist. ****ing disgrace. Edit - Apparently this has been an even bigger deal to Brazilian's then I thought: Quote: Originally Posted by SCADA.30 This content is protected Good thread TS, It's nice to hear exactly what was going on and how other Brazilians feel about it. The ones who train with AS in Brazil decided not to comment, which is already an attitude that shows that they all agree AS crossed the line badly. I can say that the Gracies are furious.. I could mention one today who's told me personally that he would fight AS for free! He's a HW though. I want to hear what Minotauro has to say about it.. it will be soon. Maluco I also can't wait to hear what Nogueira has to say about it. I hope he slaps (literally) some ****ing sense into this ass.
Yes, because that's all that happened. Try reading what people are saying before saying idiotic things. (Well, reading and comprehending...those two together can be difficult for some, I'm sure)
Yeah I'd be upset if I was a brazillian too. I can't relate to MMA. But boxing is a sport. And I'm a fan of good sportsmanship. Your goal going into a match is never to HURT another person. Just to win a fight. I totally understand.
Wish i was a playboy - ****s me how that's a racial comment atsch As someone said, it's a ****'n fight, get over it you ***gots. Half you blokes (or should i say shelia's) wouldn't stand a chance back in the old days........... toughen the **** up wld you.
If playboy means rich pampered kid, then that is a pretty **** insult. Im not getting why everyone is so angry.
that is what it means, but it is used commonly by the lower class towards the upper. And it just so happens that most poor people in Brasil are black or darker skinned then the upper class, why it is perceived as racial.
You can see that in the City of God film, where that red haired kid that lived outside of the favela was called a playboy by those who lived in it,and that didnt have anything to do with his race they just looked at him as a rich and spoiled kid.
