Golovkin, Rigondeaux, Alexander, Gavin, Ward are some that spring to mind.

Khan will be KO'd sooner of later. Direll isn't as good as people think he is and will get beaten again. If Rigondeaux fights Gamboa or Lopez he will win. Maidana will be beaten against a slick fighter like Bradley.

There are too many to list. Andre Dirrell, Andre Ward, the Cubans, Rau'shee Warren (if he ever goes pro), Gary Russell Jr., Deontay Wilder, Demetrius Andrade, John John Molina, on and on and on...

sadly IMO not a single american fighter in the next 2 to 3 years will be a superstar.

the tv exposure is just no longer there on the way up for any current boxer to become superstar material.

america desperatly needs a tyson like fighter and arum/hoya/ etc ect to get into NBC/ABC/CBS and draw up a plan to show there up and coming fighters on there networks , even if it is for small money, and put all there prospects on there , american fighters desperatly need showcasing outside of the 3 million hardcore boxing fans in the country.

without this how can any fighter be a superstar when with a max audience of 1 million for a ppv fight and 3 million for a regular hbo/showtime fight.

the numbers are simply not there at the moment and even the newspapers [put boxing reports on a *** paper size column which you need to read twice before you notice it.

Don't be shocked if none of the above are retired in 3 years.

dont cut alvarez short, from what i have seen the dude already has the ring presence of a seasoned vet, amazing considering hes only 19, add to this that hes not to shabby a counter puncher and doesn't mind taking risks, and you got the makings of a future mexican superstar. (it also doesn't hurt that hes got some serious pop in both hands)
my biggest concern is that he could burn out his career to early

Sorry buddy, Chambers will never be a star, much less a superstar
Nobody in the US even cared when he was fighting for the championship

If he rebounds from the loss and starts winning again, he will be. You become a star in boxing by winning. US networks didn't care about Chambers vs Klitschko because they knew it was a mismatch.

    lol

Lemieux is an interesting prospect and Jacobs is good but with Golovkin, N'jikam, Korobov, Pirog, Guerrero, Lee, Macklin at 160 Jacobs won't be at the top of anything at 160.

He is legit. Hope he becomes pro soon. Heard he isnt planning on fighting pro till 2012 after the Olympics.
