  6. in my opinion he is overrated, because he was a great man in ee.uu, joe louis was a great skilled boxer,an accurate puncher, he got great combinations.
But he was too static, he didn´t have great chin. His foot work= garbage

i think that joe frazier, ali, george foreman, evander holyfield, mike tyson and vitali kltschko would beat him.
    Lennox lewis,marciano,holmes,jonhson,dempsey, would have chance

Joe Louis would be the biggest Danger to any Heavyweight Champion including the Bigger men the Klitschko's and Lennox Lewis and I like him to beat Ali. Joe could match Ali in the counter-punching but hit with more more authority ...I do not see anyone who I could surely think could beat Louis, the best chance would be Dempsey and Marciano but I still rate Louis as my # 1

Louis was an all time great, and no I don't believe that he was ever rated.. I rank him at #2 all time, but on the basis of his legacy set at the time of his reign... There are a few men who I rank lower, that i'd probably pick to beat him, but that's speculative on my part....

  11. are you joking? joe louis might not beat ali even in dreams, louis was too static, prime ali 64-67 would destroy his face with cuts before louis can touch him. ali had iron chin, great stamina, the best foot work, the fastest hands, great reflexes, great movement of head , great confidence in himself... no chance, ali would outbox and humiliate louis
    joe louis is overrated.
i can see foreman and tyson winning on him by ko early.
joe louis didn´t have great chin, he was too slow with feet to avoid great punchers in the early rounds. but i like joe louis to beat larry holmes

  12. he faced archaic boxers as baer, carnera or bradock. AND THE BEST LOUIS WEIGHED 198 POUNDS (SCHMELING II).
